Juliana Menezes - from São Paulo, Brazil
Juliana is the academic director and founder of the Portuguese Language Centre and is an accredited Portuguese Language Teacher and Journalist. She has been teaching, researching and promoting the Portuguese language for over fifteen years.
Juliana is the principal Brazilian teacher in the school and has now taught more than 3000 students from over 30 different countries helping them to use Portuguese at work, in trips and in their interactions with family and friends from Brazil, Portugal, Angola and Mozambique.
Juliana has taught Portuguese in Brazil, Australia and in Ireland, where she has been living for twelve years. Here in Ireland she taught in UCD, National University of Ireland - Maynooth, Marino College and other language institutes and companies before realising her dream of opening her own school.

Paula Passarelli – from São Paulo, Brazil
Paula has been living in Ireland since 2016. She has a Bachelors Degree in Brazilian Portuguese and Portuguese Literature from Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL) and a Masters Degree in Brazilian Literature from Universidade de São Paulo (USP).
She has experience teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language in Brazil and in Ireland.
Paula has worked as a Portuguese and literature teacher in Sao Paulo and has more than 10 years experience working as a proofreader and copyeditor for some of the biggest publishing houses in Brazil. She has also translated some books from English to Brazilian Portuguese.
She enjoys teaching and is passionate about the Portuguese language and Brazilian culture.
Paula is teaching group, private, Skype and in-company classes at the Portuguese Language Centre.
Maria Ribeiro - from Coimbra, Portugal
Maria Ribeiro is a European Portuguese Teacher, originally from Coimbra, who has lived in Ireland and is currently living back in Portugal again. She has a BA in Philosophy from Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa, an MA in Linguistics and a Post-Graduadion in Teaching Portuguese as Second Language from Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa
Before joining the Portuguese Language Centre team, Maria worked with two Portuguese language schools in Lisbon and also volunteered teaching Portuguese to refugees.
Maria is teaching group and private classes at the Portuguese Language Centre.
Fabiana Oliveira - from São Paulo, Brazil
Fabiana was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, and teaches Brazilian Portuguese. She currently lives in Dublin, Ireland, which she considers her second home now having lived here for over seven years. Fabiana has a BA in Languages & Literatures from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, both in Portuguese and Spanish.
She has worked as a Portuguese teacher in São Paulo and Ireland and has more than eight years experience in teaching teenagers and adults from different nationalities and for various purposes. Fabiana enjoys teaching Portuguese and learning about foreign cultures.

Liz Clooney - from Waterford, Ireland
Liz is the school business manager and has been working with the Portuguese Language Centre since August 2015. She has a background in IT and education and understands the dynamics of a language school having taught English as a foreign language in Paris many moons ago.
